This Privacy Policy explains how TreeVook LLP ("we", "us"), operator of the Bahi Saathi app, collects, uses and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service"). We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).
Information we collect
- Account & contact data: your mobile phone number, used to sign in via a one-time password (OTP), and your name and shop details.
- Shop data you enter: information you add to run your shop — products, inventory, bills, customers, khata (udhaar) balances, payments and expenses. You are the owner and controller of this data.
- Payment data: subscription payments are processed by our payment partner. We do not store your full card or bank credentials; we retain only transaction identifiers and status.
- Usage & diagnostics: app analytics and crash reports such as device model, OS version and in-app events, used to keep the app stable and improve it.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and operate the Service and your account.
- To send OTPs and transactional messages (e.g. payment reminders).
- To process subscription payments and prevent fraud.
- To diagnose problems, analyse usage and improve the app.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing & third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, under appropriate safeguards:
- Payment partner — payment processing and subscription mandates.
- MSG91 / Meta (WhatsApp) — delivery of OTP and notification messages.
- Analytics & crash reporting — to keep the app reliable.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. On account deletion we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records).

Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), tenant-isolated storage and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
